450B - mystery with transmission front cover

Hi there guys. Thanks Jim for posting the 2 pictures. My cover is the 2nd pix with NO PTO hole. I noticed something interesting comparing both pix and my cover. It is a little tough to see in 2nd pix but there are now actually 2 different part numbers cast into the cover. Top number is T58728, bottom number is T24979. There is only one part number on the photo of earlier version with PTO hole.

As we have brainstormed through the puzzle together you all have helped bring my confidence to near 100% that my cover does not need the ball. Still waiting for one more part then it is time to mount the trans oil pump, the bell housing and reinstall motor. I can never thank you all sufficiently for the great detective work and assistance.
