350B Steering Clutch Linkage Jam Nut Thread
350B Steering Clutch Linkage Jam Nut Thread
What thread is the rod that the ball socket screws on for the linkage to adjust the steering clutch? I need a new jam nut. I thought it was 3/8-24 but it’s not, it appears to be something like 3/8-32 which there is no such thing? The threads aren’t messed up but I can’t figure out what the thread is. Thanks

I don't remember the actual thread on these adjusters. I do know they are John Deere specific. I'm not sure if Lavoy has them or not but you should ask him to see if he does or has a source for them. Otherwise it is a Deere specific part.

Re: 350B Steering Clutch Linkage Jam Nut Thread
Thanks very helpful I thought I was crazy. It’s kind of stupid though a standard thread wasn’t used
Re: 350B Steering Clutch Linkage Jam Nut Thread
Standard thread would not allow fine enough adjustability, therefore they used a finer thread than NF. It exists, just not in a regular hardware store.

Looks like Deere part #T19087. Do you know thread or anywhere to source besides Deere? Thanks
