450 b steering issue

First time post, First time crawler owner.
JD 450-b has right steering stick is responsive, the left has to be pulled back to the seat to engage.
Yesterday, they both have to be pulled back to the seat, so i think it is an adjustment issue.
The only thing that concerns me is that in reverse both steering sticks are still tight and responsive.
So if i make adjustments dont want to mess up anything that is working properly.
Any advice would be appreciated. It is a crawler loader with Drott 4 in 1 bucket
