Heads off and in shop for service while i'm waiting for that i figured i would clean up valve train make sure no plugs in rockers and such . In the manual it calls for the oil holes on the rocker shaft to be faced down . The rocker shaft has 2 sets of holes flared and and non flared i would like to think the flare would be up but when i took it apart they were down . The manual doesn't show it very well so i figured i would better ask he wasen't real sure either. Not sure if its a newbie question or not for i spoke with a friend who is a mechanic and went to school for diesels but far from an expert with these machines . Any pointers would be greatly appreciated .

Your rocker shaft goes on with the bevel holes to the bottom.
