1980 350c questions

Hi a question everyone, actually a couple. I have a 350c owned it about 6 months now. I am doing the fuel tank, line clean, filter change for loss of power. The tank is pretty bad. Got a lot of great info here. I also replaced all fluids, transmission, reverser, hydraulic and associated filters when I got it. I had one snapped off bolt, frame to the reverser that I tried everything on while in the machine and finally ended up welding and filling an iron pipe with weld with a copper sleeve around it so it did nor ruin the threads if I ever have to tale it apart, and welded a bolt onto that. Got about 250 foot pound of torque on it, not what it calls for but the rest of the bolts are good so instead of pulling everything apart for now I said good enough.
All that being said the questions. Any further advice for the fuel system clean out? What else should I look for if alot of crud has gotten in there or appears to have.
Also when I shut the machine down I get the isolator clunk clunk clunk. Is this a sign the isolator has or is about to let go and how worried should I be about it? Run it till it fails or pull the engine and replace. Right at this point I need the machine to use. - Thanks Mark

Good morning....isolator clunk is normal. if you can find a 350"D" flywheel Lavoy (the person who runs this site) has the rest of the components to for a conversion "C" to "D" as the D isolator is a much better design...you have a great machien there, keep it under cover, maintained and if you can never cob it...once you open that bottle before you know it the machien will never be write again.

Cantbeatadeere, don’t know if you will see this, but Is there anyway I can get a copy or find somewhere I can see your pictures on the isolator replacement. I tried going to the links but I don’t think they are functional any longer. At least they don’t seem to work. - Thanks Mark
