JD550G Hydraulic Steel tube fabricator or aftermarket

Post by davidblackburn1 » Sun Jul 25, 2021 8:50 am

Good day

I need to replace a cracked and heavily worn Hydraulic steel tube with oring face seal fittings. Interested in finding a hydraulic tube fabricator or someone who sells these tubes aftermarket.

Replacing with a hose would be a challenge due to the space and routing.

JD part number AT157153 (which is a replacement for the original number AT116508). Blade angle hydraulic controls.

Thank you

I have replaced these minor use lines like tilt and angle with 1/4 inch hydraulic hose and did away with the steel lines altogether. I don't remember the "G" series being that tight for their hydraulics. I recall having to reroute a couple of them but there wasn't that much of an issue.

Otherwise you might see if you can find an original steel line select used from an equipment salvage company.

I am seeing AT157153 (in stock at the JD dealer I use for $215 each) as a cross tube for the blade lift hydraulics in the parts catalog for the 550G, not blade angling. The same cross tube in the blade angling drawing is AT157151 (sub for 116506) in stock at about $208 each. Can you take it out and build the wear areas up by brazing or TIG?
