350 steering

Post by The Jug » Sun Aug 29, 2021 6:00 pm

Rebuild going well! Getting her cleaned up . I did the in frame rebuild thanks to Lavoy and super fast parts shipping with some good old friendly advise . Now to steering . I think i most Likely i know the answer but before i order the parts may as well ask . As i read through the service manual came up to measuring steering travel (play) were it said 1.5-2 inches of free travel from console one side about 5 pules other side 4 pulse should i just assume rebuild of clutches and brakes before i go any further ? Just seams like a lot of moment in the levers . Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated .

Try adjusting first, see what happens. If they won't adjust, then it is something internal.
