Re: JD Track Loader
T = Tractor
4 = JD350
E = Crawler Loader
3 = Engine, Diesel
D = Transmission, Sliding Gear with Reverser
060531 = unit serial number = 1967 (1967 serial numbers started at 042485 and ended at 064992)
T = Manufacturer, John Deere Dubuque Works
Here is the Introduction from the 350 on line parts catalog that has the info on this ne a few other things to help you understand JD's system. The unit serial numbers by year are in a post on the FAQ Board here.
Hope this helps,
Jim

Re: JD Track Loader
Thank You Jim. I was hoping it was a 1969 but I got what I deserve for buying something I knew nothing about. Is there a big difference between 1969 And a 1967? I did get a 3 inch thick 3 ring binder with it. Hoping it has had a lot of good maintenance.
Thanks Again,
Herb Richards

Re: JD Track Loader
No big difference between a 67 and a 69. On the FAQ board is a post by Stan Disbrow of the manuals for many machines. You can check that list to see if the binder you received has the manuals shown in Stan's list for a 350 loader (there should be JD publication numbers on the manuals in your binder to match).
I see the link I mentioned for the introduction is missing (likely my fault), so I'll try again.
