Just an Idea, 350B dozer salvage

I am looking at salvaging a 350B dozer from Juneau AK. A landslide pushed it down a hill and broke loose both tracks, destroyed the track tensioners and bent the blade pretty badly. Probably some other unseen damage to the undercarriage. Before the slide it all worked well and was use to yard a few loads of logs to the local mill and general property cleanup . I have heard it run over the phone and have pictures of the good and bad. I am interested in the winch, engine, transmission and one or both final drives but not necessarily all of that. Mainly the winch. The owner can load it on a trailer and Shipping it to Bellingham WA where I live will run about 2400.00 and I am hopping to recoup some or all of that. So I am wondering if anyone here is interested in components from this machine. Bellingham is not the end of the Earth but it is a long way to ship to most of the country from here. Great place for a drive to pick up a few parts though. Fall is beautiful here.

Wow that is an interesting wrinkle. The reason its pretty affordable to ship it to Bellingham is because the AK state ferry charges by the foot for trailers. Apparently if it fits it ships (USPS ad) and its about 2200.00 to send a trailer from southeast to Bham. The guy the that owns the crawler will throw in a junk trailer for 300.00. and load it on the ferry. I confirmed this with the ferry people (hope I didn't offend anybody). I will send you a PM with my email and cell. I would love to have this machine but maybe it needs to go to your house instead of mine.
