Hey guys. I'm new here, but so far I've seen alot of great information.
My situation is this, my 4219T in my 410B backhoe finally bit the dust. I'm not sure if it's a cracked liner, block or head but the crankcase is full of antifreeze. I ended up getting a great deal on a 4239D to go in its place, however there are a few things I need to figure out before I make the swap.
The 4219T in my backhoe has JDB model Standyne pump on it. The 4239D I bought has a totally different pump Lucas/ CAV pump on it. My linkage will not work on it. The 4239D is on my engine stand and I'm going to go ahead and rebuild it while it's out and build it to a 4239T. I will use the 800032 rods and turbo model pistons with 22265 Injectors. The block does have the piston cooler jets so I'm good there.
The part I'm having trouble with is what injection pump to use. I was hoping to use the one directly from my 4219T. After doing some research, I noticed @oldmetalmender did this exact build, except he used most of his 4219T parts and built it into a 4239T using the 239 block. @Levoy I know you helped him with a injection pump. Is there anyway you or anyone else here can give some numbers on which pump I should use? My 4219T has Standadyne JDB-3955 on it, the 4239D has a Lucas/ CAV DPA model R3448F318. Also the Lucas pump is actually longer so I'd definitely had to use the injector lines from the 4219T.
I appreciate any help. Thanks
