First Crawler ReLife 350c

Just purchased my first,
Its a JD 350c with ReLife Crawler number; T0350CZ714190

I guess its a 1985 by the last 6 digits. Would it have been a 1985 before the Relife?
Also, not sure what the Z means?

Has a hour meter in the Tachometer shows 585 hours. electric hour meter under the seat shows all zeros.
Is it possible the hours are correct?
Undercarriage seems to be in Great shape but I'm still learning. Cutting edge has wear but still new on the top side, I guess it can be flipped?

Last, It has that clunk, clunk, clunk in the bellhousing area at Idle but goes away after about 1100 rpm's.
Would the flywheel isolators have been upgraded during the ReLife or do I have a problem?

I had always assumed that the isolators were updated during the Relife program but may be wrong. I have seen the details of the Relife program online in the past, you might be able to find the spec sheet if you do some digging.
Either way, you may be looking at a split, cause if it was updated, and is making that noise, still might want to find out what it was.

Hello and welcome to the madness!! You can take your serial number to Deere and they can tell you what was done to the machine as a "Re-Life" crawler. The ones I was around had been updated to the 3179 engine with the 350D style isolator. The clunk you're hearing never really goes away even with the newer style isolator. It's just the nature of a 350 with the reverser. The clunk or rattle comes from the counter shaft inside the reverser. Once you gain some RPM's this usually becomes a high pitched wine.

The old style isolators were a bit noisier and they seemed to enhance the rattle to an even louder noise. As long as that rattle stays the same and isn't accompanied with noises in between the clunks the machine is okay. It's when you start hearing additional noises that you need to become concerned.

I would take the serial number to a Deere industrial dealer and have them run it through their system. They should be able to help you know your machine a bit better.
