jd 350 WINCH
Hello, all Jd 350 up and running. Finishing up electrical started final drive rebuild paints coming along so at the point where I'm starting to look for a winch. Watt models will fit i think the one I'm after is 3015 any others i should keep my eye out for. Watts the average price range? anything i should watch out for? I think I've read parts are impossible to come by true? as always thanks in advance and thanks for helping me out with this project (not sure how far i would have gotten without all the great information on here). Great cite!

Re: jd 350 WINCH
Winches and parts for them are readily available. Have a few 350 winches for sale, it’s listed on Facebook. Anything I sell will be fully tested on a machine, ready to instal with control cable, handle, drive coupler and internal drive shaft if you need it
350 winches only fit 350 - the input shaft is offset. Whereas a 450 / 550 winch is the same as the older 440 and 540 skidders.
We are having troubles with pricing on parts for the older style winches (clutch oil travels thru side cover) as one of the small clutch bearings looks be 500 Canadian. My dad will be looking at other suppliers next week. I’ll get the Deere part number from my dad tomorrow and post to see if anyone has a cheaper source for them. I need 5. My dad builds them as they are sold and have a dedicated 450C running off a remote fuel can (fuel tank removed) for quick mounting and adjustment. Also bought a hydraulic driven Deere winch at a sale this winter, so test them in the shop before mounting them and run them off a 350C loader 3rd valve.
With the price of heating, demand for winches went up significantly. Sold more winches this year so far than any year in the past. Going to see if Deere skidder arches can be modified easily to fit Crawlers as well.

Re: jd 350 WINCH
I don't think 3015 is a winch. The 3310 Manual winch is the older winch used on 350s. The 3315 Power winch is the later winch and the one you want to find I believe.

If you ever get down to South Texas you can have the one I took off of a 350 for $200. In this part of the country a ripper is preferrable. I am too old and feeble to pack it for shipping.
Early 40C w/Yakima toolbar and homebuilt ripper: 350 w/6-way
