Working on rebuilding the 4219 turbo engine from a jd 450b. I have a newly rebuilt ar49900 injector pump and would like to know if I can swap it for the ar51748?
Both are at 2500
Thank you in advance!
can swap ar49900 for ar51748
Re: can swap ar49900 for ar51748
You could have your correct OEM pump rebuilt for less, that is what I would do. Those pumps are fairly specific and I think swapping part numbers would be a bad idea unless JD tells you it's an obsolete part number that has been replaced with the other number.

It does appear that you can use either one. A quick search shows that the AR51748 is an alternate number for the AR49900 as a replacement.
Here is the specs for both.

I hope I can link to these without breaking any rules.

Thank you very much for this information!
The ar49900 I have is fresh rebuilt so I will put that on and try it out.
Thank you again!
