3325 winch filter location

Post by andyvt » Mon Apr 17, 2023 12:20 pm

I am doing a fluids and filters change on my 450c dozer and don't know where the filter for the winch is located. Any help?

On my 450E the filter is on the front side of the winch, almost under the fuel tank. Uses the same part number spin on filter as the engine and transmission.

I agree with Jim. It is a tight fit, and there is likely a lot of garbage to dig out.

Good luck

Thanks for the info, I could not see anything filter-like on the accessible sides :x

The filter on mine is clearly visible when you stand behind the winch and look forward over the inch and under the fuel tank. If the cover panel is covering the opening under the tank it might partially hide it.
