JD 350C Ring and Pinion AT42324

Post by mikewilson79 » Sun Apr 23, 2023 9:04 am

I’m currently rebuilding the transmission in my 1979 John Deere 350C Dozer and I am in need of a ring gear and pinion shaft, part number AT42324. According to John Deere the part is obsolete and I can’t seem to locate anything online. I didn’t know if someone might have something used laying around that I could purchase or if anyone knows an alternative part number I could search for. I have located everything else that I need but this is the missing puzzle piece.

You may have this info. A part number search for AT42324 in the John Deere online parts catalog site shows the 350D and the 355D used that same ring and pinion set.

I have seen an ad for someone parting out a 350 recently, in the New England area, but can't find it now to see what series it was.
