JD450C lift Cyl rebuild Kits

Post by tfordala » Thu Jun 29, 2023 6:36 am

I have a 450C and the only numbers I can find on the cylinders is U-16755-U and they are the blade lift cylinders. I need a part number for the rebuild kit for this cylinder.

Welcome to the Boards.

We need some info to get you the correct answer. Are you sure you have a 450C by the serial number? If your serial number reads 450 (space) C it is a straight 450. 450C (no space between the 450 and the C) followed by another letter, it is a C series and the second letter identifies the blade model. I ask as the blade parts are included in the 450C parts book. Blades on the 450s and 450Bs were in their own parts books. Also, we need to know which blade you have as the lift cylinders are different on the 6405 blades (inside mount 6 way) than the 6410 and 6415 outside mount blades.

Lavoy owner of this site repairs and sells JD crawlers. You should contact him (email is postmaster@jdcrawlers.com or phone 701-361-1006 CST business hours). He might have or can get the kit for you, but he will want the info I asked about to get the correct one.

Below is a link to the online parts book for the 450C. You will find the parts info for the 6410 blade lift cylinder in Section 75. Double check me, but it looks like you need a kit matching the John Deere number AR105432 kit. I can't say anything about the number you found on your cylinder other than numbers, if cast into components, are often not the finished component part number.

hope this helps.
