Interchangeable

Post by IPCO1 » Sat Aug 05, 2023 8:20 am

New to the group.

I have a late 70’s 350 C with a 6 way blade. Runs great but some of the undercarriage is in pretty rough shape. I found a 350 loader serial # is SNEY 3500001227.
Is there any chance the undercarriage components are interchangeable?

Thanks, Brian

Welcome to the Boards.

The serial number you posted is not for a 350 crawler. Where on the machine is that tag located? The engine? The crawler serial number tag on a straight 350 is located on the panel below the seat, behind the operator's right calf when setting in the seat.

You can use the (free to use) online parts catalogs at the John Deere site. Here is a link. https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/ There you can open both catalogs to compare the parts you are interested in. Offhand I will say most parts will interchange. Likely the part numbers on the 350 will be superseded to the numbers in the 350C for some.

That number was off a plate on the dash to right if the controls. I didn’t see another one where I would have expected it to be. I haven’t figured out how to put a picture m here or I would show you the machine. The undercarriage looks ver very similar except for the loader mounting spots.

You need to use a third-party hosting site like imgBB, Postimages, imgur to upload pictures from this site.

Are there two 1/8" holes about 3 inches apart in the area of the panel under the seat I posted about before?

I will look closer. The one on the dash jumped out at me.
It’s ugly but has a lot of parts other folks may be looking for as well.(complete loader and ripper) I think I’m gonna pick it up and get what I need off of it and pass it on.
