$2000 550G

Got to looking around for a winch for our 650G. Finally found one on a non running 550G. Went and talked to the guy about it. He wound up pricing the winch for 8k or the whole dozer for 10k. Ended up getting the whole thing. Put the winch on the 650 as planned. Got curious about the 550 engine problems. Pulled the motor to find all 4 bolts and the dowel pin broken off.

My question would be is how did they manage to break all four of those bolts and the dowel pins. I would bet on that machine was either dropped off of a bluff or came to some sort of sudden stop for it to shear those bolts and dowels. Don't be surprised to find even more broken bolts and probably some cracks in the frame or housings.
