Hi everyone Trying to remove the rear crossbar on my 350c to build it and the rails up. It has the typical high hour wear and ovalizing on the rails bar diameter worn. It Also snapped the bolts on the right rear block. I have a replacement.
Even with all the wear and the caps off both the rear blocks it has so much forward pressure it is hard to move sideways even with a sledge hammer.
If I beat it out and bring it back closer to specs I am afraid it will never go back in. Any ideas as to why so much forward pressure or a solutions would be greatly appreciated. -Thanks Mark
