Deere 9550 Backhoe Attachment for Sale

Post by clarence » Tue Jun 11, 2024 11:44 am

Hi all, It's been a while I have a Deere Backhoe Attachment for sale. This is a model 9550 which Deere made to replace the earlier 9300 series “Drum type” or “Rotary Vane Swing Cylinder’’. These upgraded 9550 versions are hard to find. It fits on Deere 350, 450 or 550 dozer or loader. The 9550 is a "center of tractor" backhoe attachment, was built in the 1980’s and used the upgraded tandem double-action cylinders for boom swing instead of the rotary vane swing cylinders. It attaches to a standard rear accessory mounting bracket on a Deere 350, 450 or 550 dozer or loader. It doesn't have any material repair welds nor does it appear to have had hard use but it does need paint and a couple of hoses. I bought it for my 450C but never used it. I also have a new seat for it. Local Pick Up Only in Northern California. Of course I can help load onto flatbed trailer. Price $3,750.

Hello, I'm interested in your 9550 attachment if it is still for sale.

Welcome to the Boards.

Looking at Clarence's information (seen by clicking on his username to the left of his post) it appears he was last active (signed in) the day he made this post. June 11, 2024. He might be stopping by at times without signing in, an unknown. About all you can do is wait and see if he gets back to you.

Sometimes it helps if you give people a general idea of your location and how far you are willing to travel. Someone might have an idea of one you could check on but won't put it out there when you ask someone about one specifically.

Good luck with your search.

Thanks for helping me explain my interest.
First off I'm located East of San Diego in the mountains. My family and I are developing a raw property. We purchased an 86 e450 crawler loader backhoe for many reasons from a guy in PA (I think, it been awhile. I might be a bit off). Anyhow after fixing many hydraulic lines, hydraulic pump, throwing a track etc. the machine is still amazing! Just the 9330 (it actually has a telescopic boom) has so much slop in the controls. Plus, it leaks from the spools and would need to be "re-crommed" (o ring rebuild doesn't help). Even after having the barrel valve rebuilt it works, but I feel as though the 9550 attachment would really improve it's utility.
