Auction with John Deere Crawler Parts - Amherst, VA - 7/20/2024

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, so apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place.

Lloyd "Buddy" Wright passed away a few years ago. He was in his 80's. I bought my JD350C Dozer off of him in January of 2021. I spent about a dozen weekends between October 2020 and January 2021 traveling to Amherst to work on the dozer with Buddy before I bought it. He was a great man and I really enjoyed spending time with him. He taught me a ton about the 350 dozer, which was probably only a small fraction of his knowledge.

He had a lot of John Deere equipment on his property that he kept busy. He was always repairing, selling and buying equipment. Every time I would visit it seemed he had a new piece of equipment that he said he couldn't pass up.

I remember Buddy telling me he didn't want to see the whole lot of stuff go to a scrap yard. It appears his estate is going to auction a lot of it off.

So if you are near the Amherst, Va area, the auction is July 20th starting at 10am.

Details are here: https://www.wattsara.com/auctions/detail/bw121493

I know Buddy would be happy to see some of his collection go to a good home and get some use.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this auction or the estate. I came across the auction doing a web search today for Equipment Auctions in Virginia.
