Hydraulic pump seal

Post by stevenx40 » Mon Feb 03, 2025 2:44 pm

Hello, Can anyone help me with a OEM part number or a aftermarket part . I have a 1970 JD350 dozer with 4600 HRS and a 6 way blade only , has the 9 spline 15GPM pump. The seal markings are NOK 15511-85 the pump shaft diameter is 0.687 and the pump boss where seal fits is 1.125 The pump works fine but drips when not in use and i see a crack in the seal between rubber and aluminum case that the seal is attached to. There is no perceptual movement between shaft and housing. I am struggling ? Any help would be appreciated. Steve

You can find the hydraulic pump in the John Deere parts catalog for your crawler's blade. During those years the blades and loaders had their own parts catalogs, they were not included in the crawler parts catalog. What model is your blade?

The 15gpm pump shows the same seal number in the 6300 and 6305 parts catalogs. The part number is AH15442 from the info I see.

You can use the JD parts catalogs at https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/

Use your blade model number in the Model search box to reach the catalog.

You should be able to find that seal at your local parts store or a bearing and seal store. In my 42 years in the parts business I had good luck interchanging NOK numbers to National, CR or other brands.
