The rubber boots that were covering my fuel injectors on my 450 are rotted and no longer there. While running the motor, I can see diesel fuel on top of every one where the adjustment nuts are located. It smells like diesel too. Why is that?

I am not familiar with the 450, but if they are like the ones used on the 404 diesel engine, the rubber boots are the return. IF they are rotted, then you are leaking fuel all over.

There is a rubber tee kit and I replace with a brass tee and nerl fittings kit.I think I had to use some Weather Head fittings as the kits are getting hard to find last time .When these tees start to go they will let in a lot of dust to contaminate the system .So replace the fuel filter after the tees are in place . If you have a blower fan you need to pressure wash the rad out also.Dust is a good insulter and the hot weather is just ahead .Digitup.

Where can I find these tee's? I am not sure I know what you are referring to when you say nerl. Do you have website or link for these?

Any good parts shop should be able to get Weather Head fittings just take them the tubing outside diameter and the rest is easy .If you are close to Lavoy he may be able to get them for you .Digitup.
