JD 350 precleaner CFM

Post by Bruski » Fri Aug 10, 2007 12:52 pm

Hi all,
I have a JD 350 with the 3 cyl diesel. The precleaner is missing. Does anyone know what CFM the engine draws? What is the engine model? Also can the engine be damaged by running it for a couple of minutes at a time on ether? I want to load it on a trailer, however it is not running (sitting for 2 years) but will start and run if I put ether in the intake. Thanks for any insight.

go to a tractor wrecker and get a proper one .It is the last thing that they would sell and the first piece they throw in the scrap.Digitup.

Bruski,

Ether will put alot of excess pressure on pistons and rings that can possibly break them. I suggest winching or pushing it onto trailer.
It may save you some costly repairs.
