My 350B is Serial ## 158123T. JD tells me that is was made on 10/23/72. I'd suspect that you were early 1972 based on that info. Tim

P.S. You can email Deere Technical Service direct with your serial number and they'll email you back in a day or so with your "birthdate". Good luck. Tim

Finally getting back to you with the s/n of your 350B it is a 1972 build .Sorry about the slow response to the question .I found it while cleaning up my floor so I am blaming gravity for that one .Digitup.

Thanks,
I appreciate it.I also wanted to let you know that I run a 650J and a 450H daily.Although these machines are very nice to run,I also question there long term durability/maintenance cost???I was running my friends 450E yesterday.I'm convinced that it was probably the last series of JD dozers built that a guy like myself could own without emptying the bank for maintenance/parts $$$$$$

Yes tell some of these guys that the swash plate unit is wore out of there 550J and this is the only thing wrong with it .Deeres price is $22000 Canadian [ and our dollar is a we bit stronger now ] start looking at install$ th en repair is out of the question .Start looking at good used machines and it will soon occur to you the hours difference is the only difference you should be looking at or buy a new one .I have been real lucky with the older 550 J with 3660 hours on it the problems start at 7500 well it is half way there now and only two years old looking at scrap when it is four .Try to time cost a 130000 dollar investment over that time period like a trim dozer .How can I rely on my unit when others cant at those hours .I got the Deere sales man beating his head on the wall over this and my last dozer was a Cat D5Gxlt he is worried as hell they they have lost me and my purchases from Deere .and trade is in the near future with me .I don't need any more bamby's if the pussie's are lasting longer .I am Driving them to drink!!! .Digitup.
