Hi,
I checked today on Amazon for something like the header says, some form of "The complete JD crawler/dozer guide" or book?
Does this exist in any form for both early/late crawlers/dozers?
The suggestion was given to look for The little giants: John Deere Dubuque works tractors 1947 to 1960 (Unknown Binding), by J.R Hobbs.
Is there anyone of the forum members that might know how to find this if Amazon can´t get it or maybe even would like to sell one?

"The Little Giants" by J R Hobbs was sold by Green Magazine. I contacted them and they confirmed that an updated version of this book is being written now and will be for sale soon.
The only clue they would give me about the release date for this book was to "keep looking in Green Magazine".
I would also be interested in purchasing a used "The Little Giants" book if anyone out there has one for sale.

To my knowledge, there is no direct connection to JD at all, other than tractors that they produced in years gone by.
One of my pet peeves is that JD literally ignored the antique collectors until a bean counter discovered that we really spend money. At that point, they purchased at least one of the after market companies and the parts prices produced by that company have been going through the roof ever since.
I have heard many of the "reasons" that they give as for their prices being so high, none of them stick to the wall of reality. It is pure greed and taking advantage of folks trying to enjoy a clean life.
Sorry, but that steps on my "buzzer" and it goes off from time to time.
