Hey guys,
Anyone know where I can buy some after market hood latches for a JD 450 crawler? John Deere wants almost $24.00 a piece for them! That's crazy! And they don't even match the orignal ones. I suspect they are buying aftermarket ones and calling the John Deere.

Joel, did you ever find any hood latches? I find I also need a couple and I'm not having much luck, other than the dealer.

I just broke a hood latch. I get a lot of stuff fro, McMaster-Carr industrial supply and found some on the website that will work just fine. Their catalog is over 3500 pages of stuff.

I broke down and ordered a couple through the dealer. Cost something like $27 each for those little things , but having the hood secured right was worth it.
