New (to me) crawler today!
Brought the 350b home today.
Can you tell me where to find the serial # on my newly
aquired 350b? I've looked along the sides of the frame and
under the seat, but found nothing. Any help is appreciated!
I'll try to post pics as soon as I figure out the hosting part. Mike

Thanks Rocky-
I'll look harder when I get home this a.m.
When I loaded it on the trailer yesterday, it didn't have enough clutch
to climb, so I had tp pull it on with another tractor. The sight glass on the
reservoir is cracked and leaking, so I'm hoping it just needs oil. Seemed
to drive on level ground O.K. forward and reverse.

There is a sight glass on the side of the hydraulic oil tank that has a
plexiglass lens that is cracked. There was oil all over the right side track
and the ground where the crawler has been sitting for years.
I hauled it on a 40ft. 5th wheel flatbed with a deck about three feet off
the ground. It wouldn't climb the ramps, just started up the incline and
slipped internally somewhere. Appreciate any ideas you guys have! Mike
p.s. No s/n tag on battery box, but rivets are there. Any other location on
these units?

The sight glass and hydraulic tank its on has nothing to do with the reverser and/or the machine moving. The hydraulic reverser is self-contained and has its own oil.real550A wrote:Thanks Rocky-

I'm in the process of obtaining Tech manual 1032, and until then, just
don't know enough about this unit. I'm looking forward to learning a whole
lot more.
Until then, I'm just degreasing and noting the missing bolts on
the belly, etc. The rollers, idlers, sprockets and frame all look good. The tracks are pretty rough, but seem to work properly. Engine starts and
runs very well, so I hope I can solve the slipping issue. Mike

Real---Either someone chiseled your placard off or it wore itself off. That's the only place I know of for your machine ID.real550A wrote:dale-
