Anyone knows what would make the oil milky in the reverser in 350B

Mike,
That would be water, don't know if there is a flush procedure on that system but at least a drain, filter change and refill.

It had been setting for a few years inside and the reverser was just rebuilt before it was parked, I looked at the stick before I started it and the oil looked new, but after running it, now its milky. I just thought do you think they could have been water in the bottom from condensation and after running it its now mixed up in the oil

Does it take hyd. trans oil?

Before changing fluid, you must rule out problems:

1) You may have a blown oil cooler (engine oil), which could reside where you mount your oil filters (it has a circuit from the radiator). If the cooling circuit gets a hole in it, you will mix coolant/water with your engine oil. CHECK Engine Oil at the drain plug to make sure engine oil is not milky, but black or brown and is 100% normal. Water will settle...If this is 100%, then probably not engine oil cooler.

2) Check to see if the Reverser has a cooling circuit that is integrated with the main radiator. If a hold develops in this circuit, this could foul up your radiator fluid with oil and coolant/water in your reverser system...This seems like it could be your issue. But one would usually see contaminated Radiator AND reverser dipstick...

3) You could be getting water in through the housing or shift-levers, so make sure these are clean and sealed.
