Post by lp14255 » Tue Nov 24, 2009 5:37 pm

hello everyone im new to this site and need a little help. i just bought a 350b dozer and need some info on it. the plate on the dozer says the type is t4f3d and the serial is 092807t . what year is it? and it makes a rattling noise when i turn off the motor, it sounds like it coming from the trany. the gentleman i purchased it from said it was the clutch inside the bell housing in between the trany and motor . it this normal?

That is a straight 350, 1968, not a B model. Your reverser lever should be on the dash.
The rattle noise is the drive for the reverser, mine makes the same noise. I put all new springs in, quited it down some, but still there.

A good hyd shop may have them, or from Deere.

Don't know for sure, but I suspect its a lot easier on the springs and mounts that way.
can you but a turbo on it increase the power?

I'm sure you can, just remember to save up extra money after putting the turbo on to buy drivetrain components. Like Ken said, if you need that much power, get a 400G or a 450.
