350B lost power

Post by richardprather » Sun Nov 29, 2009 12:31 am

My 350B lost power and now barley seems able to pull itself. I checked the fuel to make sure no water was in the fuel. I have even changed the fuel filters and the line. There was a little sediement but nothing that seemed out of the ordinary. I also ensured the airfilter wasn't plugged up. This didn't seem to help any either. I was wondering if any of you out there might have any guidance on what I should do next. I was thinking of pulling the injectors to see if each is spraying diesel.... Thanks, Richard

There should be a small screen in the injector end of the mane line as well. but the screen under the fuel tank is the one that plugs first .Digitup.

I am not sure about the 350B's, but on my 2010 there is a bleeding process for both the fuel filters as well as each injector. Although the 2010 is self-bleeding, if not bled properly there can be a large loss of power and even difficulty in starting.

My 2010 lost a great deal of power after I introduced air into the system after draining water from the sediment bowl and the filters. It ran much better after I bled each injector individually (crack the bajo fitting at each injector).

Just a thought if the 350B is similar to the 2010.
