450B-troubleshooting a miss

Post by Mulerider » Tue Dec 29, 2009 9:47 am

Any tips or shortcuts in determining which cylinder is not firing on a 450B?
The injector pump was rebuilt about 20hrs ago, and the machine had been running great.
Thanks,

Greg

while it's running feel each injector, do so before it gets real hot, the cold one is your bad cylinder. garry

Crack the injector line while running. The one that has no effect on how it runs is the culprit.

Outstanding advice, many thanks.

...now that hunting season is about over, all I have to stall me is the weather.
And still way too wet to do much dozing.
