350 Deal

Post by cdunn » Mon Feb 01, 2010 11:35 am

I have an opportunity to buy straight 350 somewhere around a 69 or 70 model. IT is a diesel but the engine is shot (ran it hot and seized). However, he has another engine in a parts machine that is good, and will sell also. The undercarriage is good, steers good, and has a manual 6 way blade, has rops and sheet metal is in excellent shape. Pins and bushings look good and I think it would last me a long time around my place. I plan to do all the work myself as far as the engine transfer. I'm thinking we can get together at about 3500-4000 dollars for dozer and extra engine. Would that be a fairly good deal or should I leave it alone. Any comments appreciated. I have a great amount of confidence in the experience and knowledge of all who participate on this forum.
