450c quit, now smokes

Hi all.

Finally found the time to replace the burnt out Fuel Shut Off Solenoid on my JD450c. I had to use a farm jack to lift the bucket so I could get to the injector pump. My plan was to remove the entire pump and take it to a local shop. The costs I was hearing was the deal breaker and I got up the nerve and removed the governor cover and was pleased to NOT see springs and levers come flying out. A lot of worrying over nothing. Very simple remove and replace. Long story short, tractor started right up and drove in back to the barn. Thanks for all of those that commented on my issue and the others that contribute to this board. The help is immeasurable. Matt
