I did have a case backhoe jumping out of gear and it ended up being a loose shift fork......now a 350 has a different type shifter setup,Lavoy is right, sloppy bearing or chipped out gear.

what has me puzzled is when its in second gear, the gear that it jumps out of, putting the reverser in forward its jumps out , but when the reverser is in reverse it doesnt jump out , it drives fine.

That is likely because the gear is tapered. In reverse, it is running on the flat part of the gear.

after waiting forever for nice weather , i finally took the trany cover off and found that the second and reverse sliding gear ate up pretty bad along with the cluster gear. well guess i'm going to have to replace the bad gears.

Check to make sure that the shift gates are timed as well .If your shift pattern doesn't stop in the right spot every time they will eventually pop out of gear.Digitup.
