HLR transmission

Post by deey » Thu Jul 15, 2010 6:15 am

Has anyone ran a HLR transmission with the top off for inspection? I have a pressure loss in high and low. Leaving the main transmission in neutral with the engine running and the HLR in high or low I have oil gushing from around the top of the shift valve or the clutch pressure control valve its hard to tell exactly where. in reverse this oil stops coming out so bad and the pressure gauge goes back up. I am needing to know if this oil flow around these valves are normal or is this possibly my problem. The HLR portion of the transmission has been completely rebuilt and removed and inspected twice.

Did you rebuild the clutch packs completely as well ?What condition are the frictions and steels in ? If you have no pressure loss in neutral then you have one hell of a leak in the directional . something is badly wrong in there !!.Digitup.
