450b dozer rebuild

Good afternoon all, I am really glad to be a part of your forum. Hopefully you guys can give me a hand. I recently purchased my first crawler, which is supposedly a 450b dozer, I have yet to be able to find a serial plate on the thing. Anyhow, I have managed to get the motor out and partially torn down, but I have ran into a major issue. I am trying to get the crank cover off, all bolts removed, but there seems to be something holding it down on the left side. The only thing I can see is a black square shaped case with 2 line nipples on top. It only has 2 allen wrench head bolts in it, but I have tried and tried, they will not break loose. Am I waisting my time trying to get this thing off? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
