350 crawer loader questions

Post by gerald » Tue Sep 21, 2010 10:46 pm

Im going to change all the oils to JD303. I have looked the service manual over. Where is the hyd oil filter and reverser filter located? I haven't seen my crawer in a month , hopeing to get down south in a couple weeks an try it out again. I have trailer now to transport it to my shop 200 miles north.

Kenp I was shorted some pages my book stops at 130-10-22 . Reservoir and filters 190-35-1. I should have assumed the filter was in the hydraulic tank. Its showing a cover . The 190-35-2 Im guessing where the wire mash filter is located. Im thinking operators manual would help with the locations.

One other thing you'll need is a set of really long arms to reach up in there to get the filter cover off. 4 bolts is all.

You're face will get pretty intimate with the track too. As that is where you'll have to rest your head as your peeking up under the dozer loosening the cover.

Good luck.
