I changed the oil an cleaned the tank an sigh glass for the hyd. The tractor was suttering bad befor i cleaned out the system. the hyd hold good. I opened evey cyl line 1 at a time trying to bleed the air its still suttering. the lever by the transmission fill i think its pto should it be over next to the filler hole I cant tell any differance in the hyd when i move it. Ill get some pictures of the old girl today. thank you Gerald

Do you mean loader or blade hydraulics? I don't know about the 350s, but on my 2010 the loader hydraulics are a seperate system from the transmission. To bleed the loader hydraulic system on the 2010, there is a procedure for raising and lowering the boom hydraulics several times to get the air out.
Hope that helps.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
Sounds like pump cavitation to me. As in there's air getting sucked in somewhere. Check the suction line fittings for a loose goose nut. They can suck air in and then vent it out at the tank if something is not tight.
The industrial machines use an open-center pump, so I don't suspect the pump itself right away. On an ag machine of the era with their closed-center variable-displacement pumps, I'd suspect a worn pump as soon as I heard it shuddering.
Been there, done that and way too many times! I did get a T-shirt, but then soaked it with 303 trying to fix the fool things!
Of course, it's possible to have shuddering with an open-center pump, but they have to wear a lot more than the closed-center ones do to get there.
I just recently fixed the neighbor's JD300 loader/backhoe for being noisy, but it had only lost one of the rubber cushions in the pump drive. Four new ones and it's good again.
So, check the pump drive couplings. Sometimes they sound like a pump shudder when the fault is a whole lot simpler.
later!
