Alternative Winches
Alternative Winches
Has anyone put a winch other than a 3310 or 3315 on a straight 350? I would like to get a winch for my machine but it seems the JD winches are not to easy to come by. I was thinking of a custom mount onto the backhoe mounts if I could find a random hydraulic winch. If I were to find a 10 or 15 would it mount on the machine with the backhoe mounts in place?

Hydraulic Winches
We have a hydraulic winch that was mounted on a 450C and bolts right up in the factory mounting.
The previous owner rigged it up because he needed power out and power in for raising and lower flare stacks.
My only concern in using it would be the lack of freespool.
The deere winch works nice, and yes they are hard to come buy. I just got one in to mount one of our 350's that made it in the shed. Had to buy a burnt 350B to get it.
If you find one, buy it as it might be a long time until you find another one.
