450 limb riser top support question

Post by DBCSteve » Sat Mar 05, 2011 9:40 am

Just got used limb risers for my 450C dozer through a local equipment dealer. Don't know where they got 'em but not local. They just unbolted what they could, so I got everything I need except for the two supports that weld to the top of the ROPS.

I have not checked with Deere (Pape Machinery) on availability of these two parts (AT52358 and AT 52359), but does anyone have a solution to welding up some supports? The important thing is the limb risers need to unbolt from the supports. Page 55-4 from the parts manual is posted on my web site:

Thanks for any advice!

Deere made there own limb risers back then now they are made for Deere for the newer crawlers I got some limb risers for my latest new 550Js and they were made by Hunt Tractor in Medford Oregon these were half the price of the same parts that came across the dealers parts counter and these guys make a lot of stuff like that .Here is the #1-888-791-7812 .Digitup.

Thanks Digitup. I just sent 'em an email. Here is a link to that part of their web site:

http://www.hunttractor.com/dozer_attach ... Limbrisers

They don't list limb risers for older JD crawlers. All I need are the two supports that weld to the ROPS, since I already have the stock JD limb risers. The JD web site indicates that these parts are no longer available. If Hunt Tractor does not have the parts or something that will work, I'll dig into my steelyard and make something.
