Last week I started tearing down my 1970 350 to replace the steering clutches. When I drained the oil from the right side final drive housing there must have been a pint of water in it. How can water get in there and what possible damage has been done? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Most likely an axle seal is leaking.

Well Lavoy, add two of those to my parts list. I should have the order together by saturday. But it just keeps growing!

No problem, just shoot me an e-mail with the list, and I will start digging.
