JD 350 vs 450, loader

Post by craftsman4320 » Mon May 02, 2011 3:59 pm

Looking at buying a JD loader crawler. Have some old sheds/concrete to rip up from abandoned acreage. Is the 16,000lb JD450 and a little extra horse power that much more noticable compared to a 12,000lb JD350? Does a 450 have bigger cylinders?

thanks

the 450 will do considerable more work than the 350 they are both good on fuel but if you are ripping up concrete the 450 is the machine .It all depends on price and condition but the 450 will move that much more and that much larger pieces of concrete as well as more dirt per bucket full .the 350 is a nice little machine but when push comes to shove the 450 is more machine a bit harder to get around but a lot easier on the job when you get there .they have the same resale ability but they are two different machines If you are trying to get into a small spot then the 350 shines but other than that 450s do more work.Digitup.
