Track idler

Hi , I'm new to this forum and a fairly new crawler owner, I'm having a problem with the right front track idler wearing rapidly on the outside and the track is wanting to go inward towards the blade lift cylinder. this is on a 350C JD, I'm thinking around 1976 or 77 year model, and does anyone know if the outer ridge on the idler can be built up, I'm not having much luck finding a new or used one. All help would be appreciated,

Between the front idler and the track tensioner clyinder, there are shims on each side. They are used to make the track center on the idler. I have never attempted to build up an idler. It could probably be done but I don't know if the time spent and the resultant product would be worth the time.

There are lots of 350's still in use that need tracks. I am sure someone would make an idler including Deere.

You need to check idler and or trackframe alignment. If it is scrubbing that bad, it is also wearing out your rails. Best to get it fixed now before something is completely worn out.
New idler supply is sporadic, but I can get them when they are in stock.

If it is out of alignment that bad check that your back roller is straddling the chain right I have an old excavator that from time to time skips the chain out and binds it inside or outside of the roller alignment ..You know it when it happens it takes a few extra horse power from the hydraulics when it happens .Digitup.
