Undercarrige rebuild

Post by jeepglenn » Fri Jun 03, 2011 11:03 pm

I have a 1979 450C crawler loader and I want to do complete under carraige rebuild. I want to do at lowest cost as possible, I plan to keep machine for long time but will only put 100 hrs per year at most so I do not need to match OEM quality. Can any one recommend a parts supplier contact that may supply cheap parts? I will never put enough hours on it to justify JD OEM parts. I have not had much luck finding used UC parts.
Thanks.

There is no cheep crawer, Look on E Bay. I'm always looking around for old Jd crawers, acutally some brought in a 450 70 model 1/2 mile from my retirement home looks to be repaireable . It has a winch off to the side not shure why . good luck

You already have used undercarriage, no real gain buying more of it.
I can get you aftermarket depending on what you need, and current availability. Send me an e-mail with what you are looking for, and I will check price and availability.

OK let me figure out what I need. I am in Calgary Alberta and we have had such bad weather I have not used it much. Thanks.
