Need help Please!! Borrowed my dad's 450C and messed it up!

Borrowed my dad's 450C and now it won't pull on the left side. It was pulling when we started using it but it wasn't pulling as good as the right side. Was trying to dig up a tree and heard a pop and it quit pulling on left side. Drove it back to house and fluid was running out of the bottom of it. Can I get any advice on what this might be and how hard it is to fix it. Sure do dread tell him I tore it up
