Cool Guard 11

Post by BOBWOOD » Mon Jun 20, 2011 7:56 am

Hi guys...just wondering your opions of which type of antifreeze I should use in my JD engines. Is the cool guard 11 better than other universal heavy duty diesel formulations? The local dealer said that the JD additive can only be used with the cool guard.

No Deere additives can be added to regular quality antifreeze as well .Check your PH level in the antifreeze and only use diesel antifreeze in your diesel motors .This antifreeze is usually already set with additives for the first year or so .Don't let antifreeze get older than three years before changing it out [Put it in your old pickup but do not leave it in your dozer] .It is one of the best and cheapest insurance's for a John Deere -Cat or any other diesel engine .Digitup.
