steer clutch squealing
steer clutch squealing
I rebuilt both sides eveyting new first of the year. The left side started squealing few weeks back. I'm haveing to pull the lever way to far back it turns fine but there is a terrible squealing in reverse from the left side. It's hot but not smokeing hot. I'm thinking the clutches are slipping it also could be the brake band not releasing. When I tighten up the clutches it only gets worse loosen it go's away. Im not loosening any oil and there isn;t any sign of oil on the drain plug. I would like to get the left side right. Some times I'lll just pull half way and it hooks up right . any ideas on makeing it righ. Thank you Gerald.

The power steering valve moves in furthur on the left side an it's leaking oil . The steering lenkage adjustment looks the same, I'm going to tighten the lenkage up and take the travel out of the left side and may be it's a easy fix on the cylender or hose leaking .Lavoy thank You.
