Starter on 450
Starter on 450
I picked u a new starter for my 450 at Nortrax today, and after I installed it nothing happened. I spoke with Brian at PB&H and he said it sounds like I spun a bearing. I was using it for about an half hour when t blew off some steam from underneath, I immediately shut it down and let it cool for 2 hours, and when I went to restart it the flywheel barely turned. I jumped the starter with a screwdriver and it spun but not fast enough to turn over. I will run a couple of test on the voltage regulator and ignition switch after the battery is fully charged, but in the meantime does anyone think I spun a bearing?

450 not starting
The oil was recently changed, and reads full on the dipstick, the radiator is also full. I tried turning the flywheel with a 6' bar using the side frame as a fulcrum but could not get it to turn.
I will run the electrical diagnostic tomorrow but I'm not to hopeful it is something that straightforward, I have the front grill and skid plates off, and plan on removing the blade for easier access to the UC.
I was able to push t under a carport so at least I can work on it out of the rain, I just have to make sure I get it done before the snow flies.
