injector pump

Post by 450c » Mon Aug 01, 2011 1:59 pm

I have just rebuilt and replaced the water pump on my 450b. The job wasn't too bad and it is working well with no leaks. I did notice some diesel fuel leaking at one of the bolt conections on the injector pump. I tried to tighten it but it was quite tight. I don't want to break it off. Are there some type of gasket or seal on these bolts that can be replaced?
Thanks

if it is one of the injector lines they use a banjo bolt and two washers just get new washers and it will be fine i bet. you can get them at a injection shop or if your not near one jd has for a price kinda like gold from them

That is exactly what I am talking about. I'll try some local shops.
Thanks
